The Role:

As a Locum CWD Social Worker, you will:

  • Provide comprehensive support to children with disabilities and their families, ensuring their voices are heard.
  • Conduct assessments, care planning, and interventions tailored to individual needs.
  • Work collaboratively with schools, healthcare providers, and other agencies to deliver holistic support.
  • Manage a varied caseload effectively, meeting statutory requirements and deadlines.
  • Advocate for children and families to ensure access to essential services and opportunities.

About You:

  • Qualified Social Worker with active Social Work England registration.
  • Experience in working with children with disabilities and their families.
  • A strong understanding of legislation, policies, and practices related to CWD.
  • Proven ability to assess needs, manage risk, and deliver effective interventions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
