Job summary

Caritas Recruitment Limited seeks a qualified Social Worker to join our Children’s TM - CWD Team in Nottingham. The role focuses on Children with Disabilities, assessing needs, developing tailored plans, and ensuring interventions meet statutory requirements and best practice guidelines.

You will work with families and multidisciplinary teams to deliver care plans, support voices heard, and maintain records in line with local authority policies.

Qualifications

• A recognized Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
• Registration with Social Work England.
• Proven experience working with children and families, particularly those with disabilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse families.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.

Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of children with disabilities and their families.
• Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and deliver effective care plans.
• Providing direct support and guidance to children and their families, ensuring their voices are heard.
• Monitoring and reviewing progress against care plans, adjusting as necessary to meet changing needs.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with local authority policies.
