Job description

Social Worker - Children with Disabilities

We are seeking to appoint inspirational and enthusiastic social workers to join our children within disability team within Cheshire East, who want to make a difference to the lives of children and their families. Applications are invited from qualified social workers who are registered or awaiting registration with Social Work and want to work with this diverse and inspirational group of children and young people.

Your role will be to complete reviews of care packages, working closely with colleagues and multi-agency partners, and developing creative support plans which maximise independence and quality of life. You will listen to the views of families and carers and consider their needs alongside ensuring that the voice of the child is at the centre of all planning.

A full driving license and access to a car are essential due to Cheshire East's rural nature.
