Northamptonshire Children's Trust is seeking experienced Social Workers to join their Children's Safeguarding Team in Northamptonshire. The role involves managing Child Protection and Child in Need cases, completing statutory visits, and coordinating with families and partner agencies.

Northamptonshire Children's Trust is looking for experienced Social Workers to join their Children's Safeguarding Team.
The team takes cases following the first Initial Child Protection Conference or first Child in Need meeting and supports families through to closure. Cases that progress to court or long-term care transfer to the relevant Children in Care teams.
Managing Child Protection and Child in Need cases
Completing statutory visits and assessments
Managing risk and safeguarding concerns
Working with children, families and partner agencies
Supporting cases through to closure
Contributing to the development of practice within the service
The team works with children and young people presenting with a wide range of needs and welcomes Social Workers with different areas of expertise.
Qualified Social Worker with SWE registration
Strong children's safeguarding experience
Ability to hit the ground running
Able to work flexibly according to service requirements
Office attendance of up to 5 days per week when required
Candidates living more than 60 miles from the office may be eligible for up to £150 per week, pro rata to £30 per day.
Rate: £38 per hour
