Qualifications

• DipSW or equivalent qualification and are registered with the Social Work England as a qualified social worker.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
• Experience of delivering quality outcomes for children and young people.
• Ability to build strong relationships with children, their families, colleagues and partner agencies.
• Ability to write high-quality reports and assessments and analyse information effectively.
• Experience of managing a caseload in a statutory setting with problem-solving and conflict management.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a multi-agency environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with partners to identify needs and support permanence for children and young people.
• Support and advocate for children and young people, ensuring their voices are heard in decisions.
• Undertake comprehensive assessments and develop strength-based, needs-led plans.
• Develop and implement tailored care plans for each child.
• Monitor and review progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Provide emotional and practical support to help children navigate challenges.
