At Northamptonshire Children’s Trust (NCT), we’re on a mission to secure the best possible futures for our children. We’re now looking for a passionate, skilled and experienced Social Worker to join our Court & Children in Care Team, where you’ll be supported, trusted, and encouraged to do real, impactful social work.



This is a fast-paced, high-impact role focused on safeguarding children during legal proceedings and ensuring long-term care plans reflect each child’s best interests.



What You’ll Be Doing:





  • Managing cases of children in care, including those subject to legal proceedings




  • Preparing and presenting clear, evidence-based assessments for court




  • Developing long-term, relationship-based plans for children in care




  • Working closely with multi-agency partners, carers and families




  • Acting in the best interests of the child, even when it means innovating or thinking differently




  • Collaborating with the Leaving Care Service to ensure smooth transitions
