Social Worker – Fostering (Team 1 & Team 3)
Bradford Children and Families Trust
3-Month Interim Contracts | Hybrid Working

Semester Recruitment is working with Bradford Children and Families Trust, who are recruiting two experienced Fostering Social Workers to join Team 1 and Team 3.

These roles are part of a supportive fostering service, focused on providing high-quality supervision, support, and assessment to foster carers across the Bradford area.

3-month contracts with potential to extend

Hybrid working in place – office attendance required for key tasks or team days

Based within the Children and Families Trust – Fostering Service

About the Role:

Supervise and support approved foster carers

Complete assessments for new and existing carers

Contribute to placement matching, training, and ongoing support

Ensure robust safeguarding and promote the welfare of looked-after children

Work closely with internal teams and multi-agency professionals to ensure placement stability

Requirements:

Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration

Experience in fostering, LAC, or children’s social care

Strong communication, assessment, and report-writing skills

Able to attend office-based work in line with service expectations

Flexible and committed to high standards of care and safeguarding
