Job description

Looking for a change in scenery and a chance to have your efforts truly appreciated? Look no further! Our dynamic North-west Child Protection team is seeking a dedicated social worker to join our ranks.

Forget about overwhelming caseloads that encroach into your personal time. With us, you'll enjoy a manageable caseload of 18-20 moderate cases, ensuring a perfect balance between work and life outside the office.

Flexibility is key here. We understand the demands of the job and value your need for a manageable workload. That's why we empower our social workers to manage their own diaries, giving you the freedom to prioritize and organize your casework effectively.

After inspections were carried out, OFSTED rated this local authority as "GOOD". They would be looking in the future to further this to an "OUTSTANDING" rating. This is why they are looking at you to consider a 6 month minimum contract with them with possibilities to roll over. Come be a part of that journey and take on a new challenge.

Thanks to their experienced team, you are offered supportive colleagues and senior management who appreciate your professional views and inputs. They can assure you will not be left in the dark on cases and more importantly can listen to your requests and ideas that bring towards cases.

Leaders in Care can offer rates up to £40/h, along with a service that has received 370 5* Google reviews – this means weekly check ins, support on your placement, and a market leading timesheet & payroll system that means Fridays are no longer a stress of refreshing your bank to see if your money is coming!

As this is a statutory role, you do require a social work qualification & registration to Social Work England.
