Job Title: Assessment Social Worker

Location: Guildford, Surrey

Rate: Up to £42 per hour

Job Type: Full-time | Contract

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Assessment Social Worker to join our frontline team based in Guildford. You’ll be part of a supportive and dynamic environment, working to safeguard and support children and families across Surrey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake robust assessments under the Framework for the Assessment of Children in Need and their Families.
• Manage a caseload of children and families in need of support, protection, or care.
• Work closely with multi-agency partners to ensure the best outcomes for children.
• Produce high-quality reports for Child Protection Conferences, Looked After Reviews, and court proceedings.

To be considered, you must have a Social Work qualification (Diploma in Social Work, Social Work Degree or equivalent) as well as at least 3 years post qualified experience working as a Qualified Social Worker within a similar team.
