Job Title: Social Worker – Adults Older People and Physical Disability Team
Location: Lancashire
Rate: £37 per hour
Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for a Social Worker to join a busy Adults Older People and Physical Disability Team based in Lancashire.
What will your responsibilities be?
You will conduct Care Act Assessments and CHC DSTs. You will take personal responsibility for continuing professional development and maintaining performance levels. You will manage your time effectively and respond flexibly to service needs. You will provide support and cover for the Team Manager and/or Principal Manager. You will actively participate in the performance management system, including supervision, PAR, team meetings, and service reviews. You will follow departmental health and safety procedures. You will develop skills through work experience in various divisional situations, such as secondments, job rotation, and shadowing. You will contribute to information management processes. You will support social work students on placement under the direction of the Principal or Practice Manager, acting as a workplace supervisor or Practice Teacher if appropriately trained. You will need to understand and integrate into practice the key policies of the council in relation to social care with adults, especially multi-disciplinary working, integration, and whole family approaches.

You must have Social Work England registration and be eligible to work in the UK. Additionally, you need to hold a full UK driving licence and possess post-qualified experience. A degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work is also required.
