Job summary

Salford Council's Swinton neighbourhood social work team is seeking two motivated social workers to deliver statutory social work duties under the Care Act 2014 for Swinton residents.

You will work in a supportive team, use strengths-based approaches, participate in multi-disciplinary collaboration, respond to crises, and contribute to safeguarding. Excellent communication and professional judgement are essential.

Qualifications

• Provide person centred statutory social work duties in line with the Care Act 2014 for Swinton residents.
• Adopt a strengths based approach to meet individual need.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary working and build relationships across teams.
• Respond quickly to crisis on a duty basis.
• Safeguard residents in home and in 24 hour care settings.
