Rate: £30.57 per hour

The Birmingham Children’s Trust is seeking a Social Worker to join their Duty and Assessment team, offering a pay rate of £30.57 per hour.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting Section 47 enquiries with multiagency partners
  • Preparing families for child protection conferences
  • Providing detailed legal planning reports
  • Producing court reports
  • Managing caseloads efficiently
  • Completing risk assessments and Single Assessments
  • Developing contingency plans to safeguard vulnerable children

Qualifications and experience:

  • Social Work England registration
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Full UK driving license
  • Degree or equivalent in Social Work
  • Post-qualified experience
  • Experience working with vulnerable children and families
  • Experience collaborating with statutory and voluntary agencies
