Job Title: Qualified Social Worker – Barnsley – Adult’s Locality Safeguarding Team

Location: Barnsley

Rate: £35 per hour

Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for a busy Adult’s Locality Safeguarding Team based in Barnsley.

Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for your professional development and performance.
  • Manage your time effectively and respond flexibly to service needs.
  • Assess adults under the Care Act 2014.
  • Ideally have mental health experience and be familiar with duty work such as triaging new referrals.
  • Have a thorough understanding of adult safeguarding.
  • Provide support and cover for the Team Manager and/or Principal Manager.
  • Participate in performance management activities, including supervision, team meetings, and service reviews.
  • Follow health and safety procedures and develop skills through various work experiences.
  • Support social work students and act as a supervisor or Practice Teacher if trained.
  • Understand and apply key policies related to social care, multi-disciplinary working, and whole family approaches.
