Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency has a new permanent position available for a Social Worker within the Adults Mental Health team to work full time, based in Waltham Forest.

The salary for this permanent Social Worker job is up to £41,586 per annum.

* Conduct needs assessments to identify needs and determine intervention/referral to the appropriate service.

* Conduct assessment of risk to self and others.

* Plan and implement interventions and actions for allocated cases.

* Monitor and review cases, and assess in more complex cases with guidance.

* Provide professional advice and guidance to colleagues and partner agencies supporting vulnerable people.

* Liaise internally and externally and work with colleagues from other agencies to ensure vulnerable people and carers are supported.

* Maintain properly documented case files, records and information. Prepare standard reports as required including tribunal reports

* Carry out all duties with an awareness and understanding of the Safeguarding requirements within area of responsibility.

* Proactively develop professional knowledge, skills and behaviours.

* Supports colleagues in the team.

* Act in accordance with all polices and procedures which apply to the job and understand the reasons for this.

* Be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high quality and legally compliant social care practice to agreed standards for the staff within the remit of the post.

* To ensure the implementation of Making Safeguarding Personal.

* To ensure that the assessment and support planning process is robust and meets agreed guidance and standards.

Requirements of this Social Worker Job.

* Degree or equivalent in Social Work.

* Current Social Work England Registration.

* Experience within Children's Services.

* Full Drivers Licence and have use of a vehicle.
