Role Overview:

We're looking for a compassionate and skilled Social Worker to join our Adults team. You will assess client needs, identify risks, and coordinate interventions to support adults in living safe and fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess the need for social work services, identify risks, and decide on appropriate interventions
• Liaise and negotiate with professionals, statutory bodies, and voluntary agencies to ensure the best support for clients
• Manage and monitor your caseload in line with Council policies and statutory obligations
• Maintain accurate records and complete necessary administrative tasks
• Prepare for and actively participate in supervision and team meetings
• Engage with ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills
• Contribute to service evaluation and development by sharing knowledge and best practices
• Supervise social work students where applicable
