We are currently recruiting for the following position:

Social Worker - Safeguarding Team - Bromley - £36.91 per hour

• Significant safeguarding experience within the last year
• Legal literacy, including the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act
• Good IT skills and knowledge of Mosaic
• Ability to drive and complete visits as required

Your skills and experience should include:

• A social work qualification and registration with Social Work England
• Satisfactory completion of your Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE)
• Experience working within social care, including in a multi-agency and court environment, with knowledge of fostering regulations
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of legislation, models, and theories relevant to children’s social work
• Good recording and planning skills
• A valid UK driving licence and access to a car

Social workers should be available to cover their allocations and visit children as necessary to meet service needs. Home-working may be permitted on occasion, which can be discussed at interview.
