Job Title: Social Worker – Adult Learning Disability – Manchester
Location: Manchester
Pay Rate: £ 30/per hour

Liquid Personnel is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join their client’s Adult Learning Disability Team. To be successful in this role you must have SWE registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a qualification in Social Work at degree level, and have post-qualified experience.

Responsibilities :

  • Work within a city-based Learning Disability Team supporting adults with learning disabilities, applying strength-based and person-centred approaches.
  • Carry out Care Act assessments, Mental Capacity assessments and Best Interests decisions, while managing risk and working closely with partner agencies.
  • Lead Section 42 safeguarding enquiries as required and contribute to the team’s duty rota.
  • Operate independently while contributing positively to a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Work within a hybrid model, applying behavioural science principles to inform assessments, planning and interventions.
