Job Title: Social Worker - Adult Learning Disabilities Review Team - Manchester
Location: Manchester
Pay Rate: £ 30/per hour

Liquid Personnel is currently seeking an experienced Social Worker for the Adult Learning Disabilities Review Team to join our esteemed client. To be successful in this role, you must have SWE registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a qualification in Social Work at degree level, and possess post-qualified experience.

Requirements for the role:

  • Join the Learning Disability (LD) Review Team on a short-term basis, contributing to projects focused on least restrictive practice, "My Life My Way," and disability supported accommodation services (DSAS).
  • Conduct strengths-based reviews, assessments, support plans, and Mental Capacity Act (MCA) and Best Interests (BI) decisions to ensure appropriate care and funding pathways.
  • Review high-cost care packages citywide, prioritising best value while ensuring personalised, outcome-focused support.
  • Apply knowledge and experience in learning disability services to promote effective, person-centred practice across the Greater Manchester area.
  • Work primarily from the Hulme District Office with flexibility for up to two days of home working per week by agreement.
