Job Title: Social Worker – Adult Countywide Assessment Team – Lancashire

Pay Rate: £35 per hour

What will your responsibilities be?

In this role, you will conduct assessments of adults’ needs, risks and strengths in line with statutory requirements. You will develop and implement care plans that promote independence and well-being. Collaboration with other professionals, agencies, and families is essential to provide holistic support. Safeguarding vulnerable adults by identifying risks and taking appropriate actions is a key responsibility. You will maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and reports, provide crisis intervention and support in emergency situations, and ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures. This role requires a proactive approach to supporting and empowering adults in need.

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role, you will need a recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA, MA, or Diploma in Social Work) and registration with Social Work England. You must possess excellent communication, assessment, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work effectively in a team and manage a diverse caseload.
