Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency has a new permanent position available for a Social Worker within the Adult's Locality Team to work full time based in Barnet.

The salary for this permanent Social Worker job is up to £41,793 per annum.

Responsibilities:
  1. Working as part of a supportive team to promote and support independence, choice, and control with wellbeing at the heart of everything we do.
  2. Conducting individual complex assessments and safeguarding enquiries using the appropriate tools and techniques to establish clear, relevant, proportionate, and appropriate options for individuals to meet their identified outcomes.
  3. Working in partnership with adults, their families, carers, advocates, colleagues, and external organisations to provide appropriate, professional Social Work support for vulnerable older people, adults with physical and sensory impairment, adults with mental health difficulties, learning disabilities, and carers.
  4. Conducting Mental Capacity Act assessments in line with statutory guidance and ensuring adults are provided with the opportunity to demonstrate capacity wherever possible.
  5. Delivering an integrated, evidence-based approach to supporting people with established health and social care needs or escalating needs and their families to achieve improved outcomes.
  6. Building strong partnerships with communities, agencies, and services to develop and increase their capacity to include and meet the needs of people with disabilities, mental health illnesses, sensory impairments, older people, and their families.
  7. Getting to know, building, and maintaining effective working relationships with individuals, their families, and communities in a local area that have been referred into the service.
  8. Taking delegated responsibility for specific projects, developments, and initiatives.
Requirements:
  1. Social work qualification with registration with Social Work England.
  2. Experience in managing social work caseloads and supervising others.
  3. Experience of community and/or group work.
  4. Knowledge of children's health and social care systems, agencies, and relevant legislation.
