Location: Community Justice Hub, 35 Range Road, ML1 2HR

Salary: £43,648 - £48,067 per year pro rata

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: 35 hours per week

Based within Central Services, the Services for Women Offenders team, as a member of the Justice Service teams, you will contribute to the delivery of Justice Services consistent with Government Legislation, National and Council Policy.

Working in partnership with specialist services you will provide support, advice and guidance to woman who are subject to Criminal Justice Social Work Reports, Community Payback Orders, Diversion from Prosecution, Fiscal Work Orders, Bail Supervision or women who are leaving prison and subject supervision or licence conditions.

We are looking for people who have a sound value base, can demonstrate a commitment to providing safe, effective and person-centred support and are passionate about achieving positive outcomes for North Lanarkshire’s most vulnerable people.

To apply you must hold a CQSW/DipSW, BA (Hons) in Social Work or equivalent and post qualifying experience. We are looking for people who possess excellent communication and writing skills, have a sound value base and can demonstrate they have the skills and abilities to gain trust and confidence to ensure we deliver the best possible outcomes. You will be registered or eligible for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) and you will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member prior to commencing in this role.

Work Pattern for part-time post is Wednesday pm, Thursday and Friday full days.
