Social Worker

About your role:
An exciting new opportunity to join British Gas Energy as a Social Worker.
This is a new role, part of our Vulnerable Customer Centre of Excellence, supporting at-risk individuals across the UK. You’ll work alongside the UK’s largest gas supplier, helping customers when they need us most. It’s a chance to make a meaningful difference daily.
You will support the development of frameworks and strategies to identify and assist vulnerable customers, guiding frontline teams to provide tailored support with compassion and access to resources.

We seek a compassionate, solutions-focused Social Worker with a proven track record in high-quality social work, strong empathy, and excellent communication skills. Digital confidence is essential for navigating internal systems. Experience in the energy or banking sectors is a plus but not required. We value those who live our values, excel in customer service, and are committed to helping customers stay safe and independent at home.
