This is a part-time position requiring a professional Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England. Please note that the Qualified Social Worker scale 3C - 4B (*AMHP Status) is £36,124 - *£45,718. You will be supported by our CMHT colleagues to develop your skills and experience within the field of mental health review and commissioning. Regular line management, clinical supervision, and peer supervision will be provided. We also offer opportunities for CPD tailored to individual needs and interests. Staff wellbeing is important at Salford Older Adults CMHT, and we provide regular peer support groups, reflective practice groups, mindfulness, and other team activities.
You will be reviewing care and support needs for older adults with a range of mental health difficulties. This role involves support planning and reviewing packages of care to identify and manage needs and associated risks, promoting rights and well-being. You will compile detailed and accurate support plans and other relevant documentation in accordance with the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act (2005), and Mental Health Act (1983). Working within a multi-disciplinary team will provide opportunities for collaboration and interagency working. You will operate within a clear professional structure, supported by the Advanced Practitioner for Social Work, and will receive a full range of mandatory training and CPD opportunities.
