The Social Worker within the Duty & Advice (MASH) Team plays a critical role in safeguarding children and young people by receiving, screening, and assessing contacts and referrals. Working within a fast-paced multi-agency environment, the post holder gathers and analyzes information from partner agencies, assesses risk and need, and makes timely decisions to ensure children and families receive the right support at the right time. The role requires strong safeguarding knowledge, sound professional judgement, and effective partnership working with agencies including police, health, education, and early help services.
