Our focus is on supporting vulnerable adults over 18 with a wide range of needs, including physical disabilities, learning disabilities, autism, substance use, domestic abuse, mental health and homelessness. If you have experience in these areas or a keen interest in supporting and learning more about these needs, this could be the role you are looking for. We are looking for an enthusiastic qualified Social Worker who can effectively manage a complex caseload of clients with severe and enduring mental health needs whilst assessing the social care needs of individuals to deliver comprehensive care plans to meet specific needs.
Due to the nature of this role, you will hold an interesting and varied caseload so being adaptable and flexible is key to your success. Applications are sought from individuals who have an interest in Mental Health. For newly qualified social workers we provide a high level of support to complete the Assessed and Supported Year of Employment (ASYE) with experienced social workers providing regular and tailored guidance and input. For experienced social workers there are opportunities for further professional development including training as an Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP).
