Portman Recruitment is representing a Social Worker position for Family Assessment Services in Derbyshire (DE4). The role involves leading parenting capacity assessments, producing reports, and ensuring child-focused, evidence-based practice within agreed timescales.
You'll have a recognised Social Work qualification, current Social Work England registration, and at least one year post-qualification experience. Enhanced DBS check and right to work in the UK are required.

As a Social Worker within our client's Family Assessment Services, you'll play a vital role in supporting parents while ensuring the best possible outcomes for children.
You'll lead the assessment process, providing objective, evidence-based advice and support to families while completing comprehensive parenting capacity assessments.
With a manageable caseload, you'll have the opportunity to build meaningful professional relationships with families, allowing you to tailor assessments to individual circumstances and provide the best opportunity for positive change.
