Social Worker

Permanent - Full Time/Part Time – generally Monday to Friday, 9-5

About your role:
An exciting opportunity to join British Gas Energy as a Social Worker.
This is a new role within our business, joining our Vulnerable Customer Centre of Excellence, supporting at-risk individuals across the UK.
You’ll work with the UK’s largest gas supplier to support customers in need, making a meaningful difference daily.
You will help develop strategies to identify and support vulnerable customers, guiding frontline teams to provide tailored support, compassion, and resources.

What we’re looking for:
We seek an experienced, compassionate Social Worker with a solutions-focused approach and a desire to make a difference. You should have a proven track record in social work, excellent communication skills, and confidence in digital systems. Experience in energy or banking sectors is a plus but not essential. We value your alignment with our values, customer service passion, and ability to promote our services that help customers stay safe and independent at home.
