Adult Community Team North is a large and supportive team consisting of Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, and Social Care Practitioners covering areas in North Wiltshire.
We work with adults over the age of 18 in need, actively listening, collaborating, and tailoring plans to enhance well-being. We partner with healthcare providers to prevent crises, emphasizing existing support for independence. Our approach seeks local, sustainable solutions and offers diverse intervention and prevention opportunities.
Registration with Social Work England is a must. Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication are essential. An updated knowledge of relevant legislation, safeguarding vulnerable adults, and an in-depth understanding of Health and Social Care legislation and policy are vital.
