A leading healthcare provider is seeking a part-time Social Worker for the Cheltenham & North Cotswold Recovery Team. The role involves care coordination, statutory assessments, and contributing to service development. Ideal for an experienced professional passionate about mental health care.
We are excited to offer a substantive part-time Social Worker position within the Cheltenham & North Cotswold Recovery Team. The role is 30 hours per week, with negotiable days and hours. The position is based at Leckhampton Lodge, a community hub facilitating information, skills, and knowledge sharing among recovery and community teams.
The Recovery Team is a friendly, dynamic group providing secondary care services to adults of working age, their families, and significant others. Our goal is to achieve the best outcomes for individuals experiencing severe mental illness with complex needs, working in line with Recovery and Social Inclusion principles. We aim to deliver high-quality, safe, and positive experiences while ensuring services are efficient and effective.
This role is ideal for an experienced Social Worker with some background in working with adults of working age and caring for individuals with enduring mental health issues.
Responsibilities include care coordination for a designated caseload, working within CPA policies and risk procedures, traveling independently, utilizing IT skills, and applying knowledge of legislation related to safeguarding vulnerable adults, the MHA, and MCA.
