Job summary

The Methodist Church in Britain is seeking a Permanent Mental Health Social Worker to join the council's Mental Health Service, newly re-established under a Section 75 agreement. The role focuses on person-centred, recovery-oriented support for adults with social care needs from non-organic mental health conditions, across both community and inpatient settings.

The role covers the county within a multi-disciplinary team.

• Enhanced DBS with barred list check
• At least 1 year experience as an adult social worker (skilled worker route)

Job description

Permanent Mental Health Social Worker post in the council's Mental Health Service, which is being re-established as a new service under a Section 75 agreement. The work is person-centred, recovery-focused support for adults with social care needs from non-organic mental health conditions, across community and inpatient settings. The role covers the whole county within a multi-disciplinary team. A full driving licence is required, and sponsorship is considered for skilled-worker candidates with at least a year in adult social work.
