Job Title: Team Manager

Location: Kindercare, Belfast

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full time

Salary: £43,000 - £45,000 per annum (plus £3,000 car allowance)

National Fostering Group, rated as a Great Place to Work 2025, is the largest independent children's fostering group in the UK, with over 20 years of experience and a community of over 2,500 foster carers. We work with Local Trusts to provide high-quality care for children and young people, with all agencies recognized as Outstanding or Good by Ofsted, Welsh, and Scottish regulators.

We offer a 4-day working week following a successful 6-month probation, a benefit based on performance.

About the Role

Kindercare Fostering NI is a not-for-profit agency serving all five Health and Social Care Trusts in Northern Ireland. We support over 115 foster carers and 180 children. The Team Manager will support the Registered Manager in delivering high-quality services, ensuring compliance with legislative and regulatory standards, and contributing to regional development and expansion.

Candidate Requirements
  • Current registration with relevant Social Work regulatory council (e.g., Social Work England/Wales, NISCC, SSSC)
  • Recent experience in fostering and services for children
  • Good knowledge of regulatory frameworks
  • Experience in line management and achieving performance targets
  • Strong communication skills and IT proficiency
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel
