You need to work well independently and in a team, with good time management, interpersonal, advocacy, communication, and IT skills.

Main responsibilities include:

  2. Managing and planning work to monitor and review outcomes.
  3. Undertaking Carers’ and Risk Assessments as part of the care management process.
  4. Participating in the Duty System for ad hoc work, processing information, and acting under supervision.
  5. Supporting shadowing of students and new staff from other disciplines.
  6. Maintaining written and electronic records to organisational standards.
  7. Providing reports, assessment outcomes, and recommendations.
  8. Advocating on behalf of service users.

Essential requirements:

  • NVQ 3 in social care or equivalent.
  • Experience working with adults in social care.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation related to mental health and adult social care.
  • Experience working with individuals experiencing mental illness, learning disabilities, or physical conditions.
