What you will do:

1. Undertake ongoing assessment work and intervention with children and families.
2. Progress children's plans to ensure timely access to services.
3. Work closely with colleagues and partner agencies to ensure the child's voice is integrated into case planning.
4. Visit families as required to assess and reassess children's needs while under local authority care.
5. Act as Case Manager, coordinating review meetings and as Key Worker where a Children Looked After (CLA) Plan is in operation.
6. Provide and contribute to Child and Family Assessments.
7. Develop ways of identifying and assessing children in need as outlined in the Children's Services Plan.
8. Liaise with other agencies on behalf of service users and arrange specific assistance as needed.
9. Fulfill statutory duties authorized by senior management and present evidence and reports to courts.
10. Participate in the team's Duty system as required.
11. Maintain accurate computerised records and documentation.
