Job summary

Randstad Student Support is seeking an experienced, fully qualified practitioner with a Social Work background to deliver reflective group clinical supervision for the University of Southampton's Student Mental Health & Wellbeing team, supporting practitioner wellbeing, professional practice, and complex case management across 45 staff.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Social Work (BA, BSc, MA, MSc, or DipSW/CQSW).
• Active registration with SWE/SCW/NISCC/SSSC.
• Dual registration or additional accreditation with BACP/UKCP/BPS/NMC welcome.

Responsibilities

• Deliver reflective supervision for group and 1-to-1 sessions for university mental health advisers and staff.
• Apply social work principles using systemic, person-centred frameworks in a higher education context.
• Promote practitioner wellbeing and resilience; create a safe, confidential supervising environment.
• Maintain professional boundaries and navigate multi‑agency pathways with safeguarding adherence.
• Log session attendance and contribute to termly/annual supervision reviews for service managers.
• Adhere to safeguarding protocols and escalate concerns as needed.
