Job summary

Henry Blue Ltd is seeking a Social Work Lecturer to deliver teaching across a Social Work degree programme in Bradford. You will support students' academic development, professional practice and preparation for qualification, delivering lectures, seminars and workshops across Levels 4–6.

The role requires SWE registration, a Social Work degree, and substantial HE teaching experience with undergraduate cohorts.

Qualifications

• A degree in Social Work
• Current registration with Social Work England (SWE)
• Experience teaching Social Work at Higher Education level
• Experience teaching undergraduate Social Work students
• Experience teaching across Levels 4, 5 and 6
• Strong knowledge of current Social Work practice, legislation and professional standards

Responsibilities

• Deliver teaching across the Social Work degree programme
• Plan and deliver high-quality Social Work teaching
• Assess student work and provide constructive feedback
• Support students' academic and professional development
• Contribute to development and delivery of course content
• Support practice learning and placement activities
• Ensure teaching reflects current Social Work legislation and standards
