Job summary

CU Health and Care Limited (CUHC) invites applications for a Lecturer in Social Work to deliver teaching and co-ordinate courses across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, including apprenticeships. The role collaborates with colleagues to embed research, enterprise and professional context within modules, enriching student learning experiences.

You will contribute to BA/MA Social Work courses, support placements, and contribute to recruitment activities.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching at higher education levels 4-7 in Social Work.
• Ability to coordinate modules and courses across programmes.
• Experience with Social Work placements on BA/MA programmes.
• Involvement in Degree Apprenticeship programmes in Social Work would be advantageous.
• Strong organisational and communication skills and ability to engage in recruitment activities.

Responsibilities

• Teach HE modules and co-ordinate courses across HE levels 4-7 (UG, PG, Degree Apprenticeship).
• Contribute to Curriculum Development drawing on professional experience.
• Support Social Work placements on BA and MA programmes.
• Contribute to the Social Work Degree Apprenticeship Programme in specialist areas.
• Support recruitment activities for Social Work courses throughout the academic year.
