Job overview

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic professional to join our Financial Management team. This role encompasses comprehensive financial management responsibilities for a Directorate, including expenditure analysis, establishment control, and forecasting. The successful candidate will support the production of monthly financial reports, investigate variances, and provide analytical insights. Continuous training and study support for CCAB Qualification are available.

Main duties of the job

The candidate will work alongside the Financial Management team responsible for setting and monitoring the Trust's budgets, supporting budget holders to achieve financial stability. Tasks include managing management accounts, processing journals, invoice verification, and preparing forecasts through regular meetings with budget holders. The role also involves assisting with year-end accounts, reconciliations, and process improvements.
