What you will do:

1. Hold and manage care proceedings from start to final hearing and permanency planning.
2. Provide exceptional quality assessments and case management using evidence-based approaches.
3. Work within a collaborative team setting, where manageable caseloads and reflective supervision are the norms.
4. Support and mentor newly qualified social workers and students, contributing to developing the workforce of tomorrow.

We're looking for a practitioner with:

1. A Social Work England registration and recognised Social Work qualification.
2. Significant experience in safeguarding and the family court arena.
3. A comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation, including Working Together to Safeguard Children.
4. The ability to complete high-quality assessments and evidence-based reports promptly.
5. A child-centred, restorative approach, working collaboratively with families and other partners.
