Job Requirements

Role Purpose

The Wild is seeking an experienced Social Videographer to join their team, working across various brands. The role involves shooting and editing high-quality branded videos for both commercial and original projects. The Videographer will operate within The Wild, an internal creative agency within Jungle Creations, providing social media management, marketing, advertising, and branded content services.

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Shoot and edit diverse social content, including editorial, branded, and social-first formats.
• Operate all camera, lighting, and sound equipment during shoots.
• Understand lighting principles and operate equipment per creative briefs.
• Create engaging social content with appropriate pacing and style.
• Contribute creative ideas, shot lists, and storyboards for shoots.
• Produce engaging cutdowns and assets from main content for social media.
• Manage media ingestion and check for corrupt files.
• Create basic 2D motion graphics using After Effects and Photoshop.
• Mix audio, including music, SFX, and interviews.
• Color grade footage using Adobe Suite.
• Incorporate feedback from clients and stakeholders, revising as needed.
• Meet deadlines and communicate progress effectively.
• Manage multiple projects and ad-hoc requests.
• Stay updated with new production technology and social trends.
• Ensure final outputs meet quality standards.
• Stay informed about platform-specific social media trends.

Background and Experience

• Proven experience as a Videographer, both shooting and editing.
• Experience in a production company, social/digital publisher, or marketing agency.
• Track record of creating social media content.
• Knowledge of post-production processes.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency with high-quality cameras.
• Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Strong visual and design sense.
• Attention to detail and media management skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and follow briefs.
• Receptive to feedback and new ideas.
• Excellent communication skills.
