The Focus Of The Role

We're looking for a creative and enthusiastic social video producer who can ideate, film, and edit first-class video content for Grazia that captures our audiences' attention, encouraging sharing, shopping, or commenting. You will create content for all Grazia verticals and channels, with a focus on fashion and beauty videos designed to drive engagement on Instagram and TikTok.

You should have a strong visual eye and excellent technical skills, with a solid understanding of how to bring the Grazia brand to life on video. The role requires filming and editing to meet deadlines and budgets. Working closely with the Social Media Editor, you'll be organized, detail-oriented, and skilled in video shooting, lighting, and editing, with a proven track record of creating successful social-first video content, particularly around fashion and beauty.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Grazia team. You’ll be based in the London office, with the possibility of working from home part of the week.

Key Responsibilities

1. Producing, filming, and editing video shoots to create a regular content schedule for IG and TikTok, working closely with the social media editor.
2. Generating ideas for new videos based on social trends and collaborating with the team to execute them.
3. Liaising with the art team to develop and maintain Grazia’s video style.
4. Attending shoots and events to capture video content, with time off in lieu for out-of-hours work.
5. Scheduling videos into the social plan and ensuring timely delivery of assets.
6. Collaborating with the commercial team to develop new commercial video concepts based on briefs or proactive pitches.
7. Creating eye-catching thumbnails and stills to attract viewers.
8. Working with the marketing team to develop videos for key initiatives, such as the launch of the beauty box.
9. Researching and devising methods for lifestyle team members to produce short-form videos, including creating templates and instruction manuals for social media content production.
10. Managing channel upkeep for TikTok and Instagram.
11. Overseeing the management and maintenance of Bauer’s in-house video equipment, including recommending future purchases.
12. Collaborating with teams on digital best practices to create engaging graphics, edits, thumbnails, and formats to boost engagement, subscriptions, and followers.
13. Attending conferences and sharing insights on top-performing videos and competitor learnings.

The Ideal Candidate

• Excellent knowledge of professional camera equipment, mobile phone camera tech, sound, and lighting.
• Comfortable shooting on both iPhone and professional cameras to produce quality results.
• Proven experience in shooting and editing, with a strong understanding of social media platforms.
• Passion for creating social-first fashion and beauty videos.
• A social video enthusiast who tracks the latest trends, especially in fashion, beauty, and pop culture.
• Confident in capturing content accurately and suggesting re-shoots if necessary.
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects.
• Strong project management skills.
• Analytical mindset, able to translate performance data into content strategies.
• Entrepreneurial attitude with a commitment to continuous learning.
• Understanding of competitor activity and consumer behavior.
• Sound editorial judgment with storytelling, storyboarding, and scripting skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and direct talent.
• Awareness of media law, Ofcom compliance, health and safety on shoots.
