Job summary

Studio B is a fast-moving, creative production company in London seeking a mid-level Video Editor who lives for social media. You will turn raw footage into punchy short-form content and engaging long-form YouTube videos, working in a high-output environment with rapid feedback and evolving formats.

You’ll own edits from rough cut to final delivery, delivering polished, on-brand content with strong storytelling, pacing and sound design across multiple platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience editing fast-paced social content.
• Proficiency in video storytelling and pacing.
• Ability to take feedback and iterate quickly.

Responsibilities

• Edit platform-native short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts with hooks and pacing.
• Craft long-form YouTube videos including challenges, gameshow-style formats and behind-the-scenes content.
• Own edits from rough cut to final delivery, shaping narrative, rhythm, audio, captions and finishing touches.
• Work quickly on briefs with competing deadlines while keeping output sharp and on-brand.
• Collaborate with creatives, producers and editors; bring ideas and creative solutions, not just execution.
• Use platform trends to push content forward; suggest stronger hooks, cuts and storytelling approaches.
