Job summary

Studio B is looking for a mid-level Video Editor who thrives on social-first content, edits quickly and brings energy and personality to every cut. You’ll shape both punchy short-forms and engaging YouTube formats, collaborating with a dynamic team to push creative boundaries.

You’ll own edits from rough cut to final delivery, crafting pace, rhythm, sound design and captions while keeping outputs on brand and ready for rapid publishing.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to edit fast-paced social media content across platforms.
• Strong sense of pacing, storytelling and comedic timing.
• Portfolio demonstrating short-form and long-form edits.
• Experience collaborating with creatives and producers.
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve; After Effects is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Edit platform-native short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts with hooks and pace.
• Craft long-form YouTube videos: challenges, behind-the-scenes, interviews, vlogs.
• Own edits from rough cut to final delivery, including sound, captions and finishing.
• Work quickly on quick-turnaround briefs while maintaining brand standards.
• Collaborate with creatives, producers, VFX artists and editors; contribute ideas.
• Leverage audience trends to improve hooks and storytelling.
• Iterate based on feedback and uphold high creative and technical quality.
• Create cut-downs, trailers, teasers and social-first branded content as needed.
