Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in video editing, social video, digital production or content production.
• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Experience or affinity with social and short-form video content.
• Instinct for identifying moments that could perform well on social.
• Fluent English plus one additional language if possible.
• Able to learn new editing technology and AI-powered tools.
• Comfort in high-volume, repetitive production environments.
• Curious, adaptable and fast-paced.

Responsibilities

• Review long-form entertainment content and identify clip-worthy moments.
• Cut footage into short-form social content.

We’re recruiting six Video Editors / Social Video Editors for a major global entertainment and technology business in London.

The team is looking for hands‑on editors to help transform long‑form entertainment content into engaging short‑form social assets, using a combination of established editing software and a new internal AI‑powered clipping tool.

The core of the role is simple: spot the moments that have social potential, cut them effectively and produce strong social‑ready content at pace.

What you’ll be doing

• Reviewing long‑form entertainment content and identifying clip-worthy moments
• Cutting and editing footage into short‑form social content
• Using Adobe Premiere Pro and learning a new internal AI‑powered clipping tool
• Applying strong judgement around hooks, pacing and what performs on social
• Creating and adapting assets for different social platforms and formats
• Supporting captions, overlays, social copy and publishing where required
• Producing content in a high‑volume, fast‑paced, task‑based environment
• Responding quickly to feedback and changing priorities
• Helping the team establish effective workflows around this new technology

What we’re looking for

• 2+ years' experience in video editing, social video, digital production or content production
• Strong hands‑on video editing and clipping skills
• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro
• Experience or a strong affinity with social and short‑form video content
• An instinct for identifying moments that could perform well on social
• Fluent English plus one of the following languages:
• Comfortable learning new editing technology and AI‑powered creative tools
• Able to work effectively in a high‑volume and highly repetitive production environment
• Curious, adaptable and comfortable working at pace

Relevant backgrounds could include Video Editor, Social Video Editor, Digital Producer, Social Producer, Content Producer or Content Creator.

Freelance experience is absolutely welcome. Previous AI clipping experience isn't essential – you'll be trained on the specific internal tool.

A portfolio or links to previous editing work is preferred, particularly examples demonstrating content you've personally cut and edited.
