Social Values & Facilities Coordinator

Location: London

Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm)

Purpose

Support the Executive Assistant and Senior Management Team by coordinating Social Values initiatives and managing the Corps Archives. Ensure the efficient operation and upkeep of the Head Office, providing a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all colleagues and visitors.

Responsibilities
  1. Executive and Senior Management Support:
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, booking travel and expenses.
  • Assist with company events such as the annual conference and charity events.
  • Maintain confidentiality and data security.
  • Liaise with the London Metropolitan Archive regarding Corps Archives enquiries.
  • Social Values Initiatives:
    • Support projects in delivering strategies and initiatives.
    • Research local volunteering opportunities aligned with the company's brand.
    • Manage charity partnerships, fundraising, and volunteering programmes.
    • Collaborate with the Communications and Engagement Manager to promote Social Values initiatives both internally and externally.
  • Facilities and Office Management:
    • Manage meeting room bookings and arrange refreshments.
    • Act as the primary liaison for building maintenance, services, and contractors.
    • Oversee fire alarm testing, post distribution, and office deliveries.
    • Conduct regular inspections to ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety.
    Required Competencies and Skills
    • Experience supporting social value initiatives, archival management, or similar roles.
    • Strong organisational and project coordination skills.
    • High attention to detail and excellent written communication.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Forms, Outlook) and internet-based systems.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines.
    • Proactive attitude with strong problem-solving abilities.
    • Previous facilities coordination experience is desirable.
    • Ex-military background is an advantage but not essential.
