Job summary

MTR Partnership is seeking a proactive Social Value Manager to join a respected North West building contractor. You will lead social value plans across projects, driving education, community engagement and VCSE initiatives with local partners.

Based in Greater Manchester with site visits as required, you will promote social value, deliver outcomes across the contract lifecycle and report on impact using standard portals and internal dashboards.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in managing social value within construction.
• Experience coordinating education, volunteering and VCSE engagement.
• Ability to analyse social value data and report outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Carry out social value research and planning for tender bids.
• Engage local communities to identify needs and develop initiatives.
• Deliver education, volunteering and VCSE engagement activities.
• Coordinate work experience opportunities with local education establishments.
• Manage work experience and support participants with education providers.
• Collect, analyse and report social value data using tools like the Social Value Portal.
• Design case studies for tender bids and audits for Considerate Constructor requirements.
• Publish project newsletters across sites to update progress and outcomes.
