About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Head of Sustainability, the Social Value Lead will be responsible for delivering the NNEP framework’s Social Value KPI. Responsibilities include:

  1. Leading and coordinating internal and external stakeholders to deliver commitments related to social value and sustainability initiatives.
  2. Ensuring data collection, analysis, and accurate KPI reporting internally and to the client.
  3. Serving as a key client-facing contact for social value and maintaining strong client relationships.
  4. Organising and delivering social value events and outreach activities.
  5. Increasing awareness and engagement with social value among employees and sharing knowledge to upskill teams.
  6. Driving continuous improvement to maximise social value opportunities and creating case studies for internal and external use.
  7. Supporting the execution of components of the Sustainability Strategic Plan, ensuring alignment with client net-zero targets and company sustainability goals.
Role Summary

This role involves driving social value initiatives across the NNEP Framework, coordinating stakeholders, managing KPI delivery and reporting, and promoting a culture of social responsibility and sustainability. It includes client engagement, business development, and integrating social value with sustainability efforts.

Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
  • Experience in delivering and evaluating social value outcomes.
  • Knowledge of social value legislation, policies, and procurement requirements.
  • Understanding of the social value, sustainability, employment, and skills landscape.
  • Ability to work independently and inspire others.
Qualifications and Experience
  • A passion for social value and ability to lead its delivery.
  • Experience in delivering social value activities on large projects.
  • Ability to build networks and embed social value in supply chains.
  • Monitoring, evaluation, and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools.

Employment is subject to security clearance, including BPSS and either SC or DV clearance, which may involve additional evaluation for non-British nationals.
