We are looking for a Social Value Coordinator to join our team based in Southampton.

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Responsibilities

We're looking for a Social Value Coordinator to join our project team based in Southampton.

As Social Value Coordinator, you'll be working within the construction team, supporting them by being the main link between Kier and our local communities, schools, colleges, and universities to ensure that our commitment to social value is evident.

Your day to day will include:
  • Representing Kier at various events such as careers fairs, community events, school engagements, and industry events.
  • Ensuring accurate data collection across the project and recording it via Thrive to achieve project KPI's.
  • Collaborating with the project team to encourage strategic social value initiatives.
  • Identifying strategic volunteering opportunities within the project area to enhance local environments and communities.
  • Delivering and continually developing the Kier Social Value Plan.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with The Social Value Act and PPN 002.
  • Excellent project and data management skills.
  • Ability to build relationships internally and with external stakeholders to meet strategic objectives.
