Job summary

Sureserve Group is seeking a Social Value Coordinator to drive community benefit and social value commitments across our UK projects. You will collaborate with project teams, suppliers, and clients to deliver inclusive and sustainable outcomes, leveraging tools like TOMs and Social Value Portal.

The role requires knowledge of UK procurement frameworks, strong stakeholder engagement, and a practical understanding of health and safety on active construction sites.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in a social value/impact role.
• Knowledge of UK construction procurement and the Social Value Act 2012.
• Familiarity with National TOMs and Considerate Constructors Scheme.

Responsibilities

• Implement on-site social value initiatives across employment, apprenticeships and local procurement.
• Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors and local stakeholders to deliver social outcomes.
• Support tender submissions by drafting social value sections and bids.
• Monitor performance using tools like Social Value Portal, TOMs and LM3.
• Lead community outreach activities including school programmes, site tours and volunteering.
• Promote local SME participation and monitor local supply chain spend.
• Support EDI initiatives and deliver toolbox talks on inclusive working practices.
• Maintain records and evidence for audits and client reporting.
• Create case studies and digital content to showcase social and environmental impact.
