We’re looking for a Social Sustainability Value Manager to take the lead on developing and implementing the ISS Social Value Plan for a major government contract.

This is an exciting new leadership role that combines strategy with hands-on delivery, giving you the chance to make a tangible impact on people and communities.

Job Description

As Social Sustainability Value Manager, you will oversee all social value reporting requirements and ensure commitments are delivered effectively across the contract lifecycle.

Leading a team of regional Community Managers, you’ll drive a localised approach, building strong partnerships to support delivery and maximise value.

Working closely with key stakeholders, you’ll champion a proactive approach to social value, creating meaningful opportunities while ensuring alignment with ISS’s broader strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Own and deliver ISS Social Value Plans regionally, ensuring all commitments are met
  • Collate and report social value data to evidence performance against SPIs
  • Represent Social Value in stakeholder groups, driving collaboration across organisations and communities
  • Lead a regional team of Community Managers to deliver programmes and manage stakeholder relationships
  • Ensure programmes align with ISS strategy, legislation, and local community needs
  • Support reporting, knowledge sharing, and upskilling across ISS and the wider government sector
  • National role requiring regular travel to support delivery and stakeholder engagement
Qualifications
  • Strong experience in social value, ideally since 2012–2013 Act introduction
  • Background in government, public sector, construction, or local authority
  • Skilled in working with TOMs and applying social value frameworks
  • Procurement experience beneficial
  • Proven line management experience
  • Good track record of delivering social value outcomes over several years
  • Able to adapt knowledge across sectors and stakeholders
