Job description

Job Purpose: The Paid Social, Senior Account Associate Director is the paid social lead for Google B2B, responsible for delivering category-defining capabilities and services across paid social activity. Success involves providing strategic insights across channels, evolving best practices within paid social, and leading a team with ultimate responsibility for work quality.

What we need from you:

  • Effective oversight of designated account campaigns, integrating these into the overall cross-channel campaign strategy.
  • Support capacity planning and resource management in collaboration with the Client Director & Media Activation Practice Lead.
  • Oversee development of paid social best practices regionally, coordinating with global teams to ensure consistency and adherence to controls.
  • Serve as the primary contact between the Media Activation team and stakeholders, internal and external.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and key suppliers, communicating effectively and providing valuable insights.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of paid social platforms, bid-management, and programmatic buying, establishing yourself as an in-agency expert.
  • Manage vendor relationships and evaluate new platforms and integrations, maintaining a point of view.
  • Create thought leadership pieces and case studies to showcase expertise.
  • Deliver regular updates on work quality and progress.

Additional responsibilities include gaining strategic understanding of client KPIs, owning forecasting and methodologies, leading and coaching team members, maintaining client satisfaction, and ensuring effective communication and issue escalation.

About you:

  • Proven experience at Activation Director level in Digital Media or Advertising, including managing P&L.
  • Strong project management, leadership, and people management skills.
  • Experience with large-scale paid social campaigns on Meta, Twitter, LinkedIn, and third-party platforms.
  • Excellent knowledge of media planning fundamentals.
  • Experience managing paid social vendor relationships and contributing to best practices.
  • Experience with Google Analytics and programmatic paid social is desirable.
